This position provides sales and marketing support to the division as well as secretarial and administrative support to the Director of Sales/Marketing departments, including New Home Consultants, through a variety of related responsibilities. The ideal candidate will be an “Idea Person”, willing to think outside the box offering and implementing fresh contributions that will take our business to the next level. The position requires a strong ability to handle multiple tasks under deadlines, creative marketing skill, good judgment, dependable and a professional, supportive team attitude. Responsibilities The primary duty will be to support the Manager(s) in day-to-day sales/marketing activities through collection and dissemination of information to individual Sales associates and various communities. Constant interaction with Sales associates, construction, customer care and vendors to maintain model complex presence Provide and set up install of compelling marketing support collateral/material for new community roll out, phase releases, and close out communities: sales price collateral, community maps, location points of interest, topo homes, community and home site signage, brochure creative/prints/reprint, home site flyers, sales campaigns, and special event planning and execution Skilled at creative writing with an innate sense of incorporating and showcasing the sales “Call to Action” message in all collateral, email, direct mail, advertising, print, and digital campaigns Focused on incorporating and delivering Lennar’s sales differentiators through marketing media: The Value of EI, NextGen, and Lennar’s Core Values The candidate must possess a “Take Charge” attitude and understand ownership of sales and marketing initiatives that generate results Assist with all Social Media Marketing requests, initiatives, strategy, etc…. Adheres to strict schedules with regard to prospecting, sales initiatives, and customer relation management The candidate will be required to present proven success and the drive and motivation to further develop and evolve their skill level to the next level Requires attendance and execution outside of office at all Welcome Home Centers, various events, future community site visits, industry conventions, company functions, etc…as needed Perform administrative support: business letters, spreadsheets, word processing, faxing, copying, answering phones, and handling incoming and outgoing correspondence as requested Maintain marketing invoices, including code and research in a timely manner. Process check requests Will be the “Go to Person” for emergency and/or critical issues that arise in the Welcome Home Centers and/or Sales Trailers Ability to assume new responsibilities and embrace opportunities as deemed necessary by the VP of Sales & Marketing, Marketing Management, and Division President Determined to meet deadlines while maintaining a professional, positive attitude Perform all other duties as assigned Qualifications High school diploma required (A.A. Degree or completion of general secretarial/business desired); Bachelor’s preferred in marketing, public relations, communications, or related discipline or equivalent work experience Minimum two (2) years’ experience in similar position or related areas of the New Home Builder Sales & Marketing industry Minimum two (2) years’ experience in the Home Building/Housing/Real Estate industry Savvy online research skills/Tech Savvy and able to learn new software and programs quickly, desktop publishing skills a huge plus Strong Social Media Knowledge and Skills Excellent writing, proofreading, and editing skills Strong oral communication and public speaking skills Strong PC skills (proficient in Microsoft Office Suites including: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Photoshop, InDesign, Adobe, PhotoShop) Detailed and numbers oriented Ability to work in a fast paced environment Team-oriented and willing to collaborate with various departments Professional appearance and demeanor Works well with others, and is also able to work alone with minimal direction Excellent grammar/spelling skills Valid motor vehicle license Physical Requirement This is primarily a sedentary office position which requires the ability to occasionally bend, stoop, reach, lift, move and carry office materials, equipment and supplies weighing 25 pounds or less. Finger dexterity is required to operate a computer keyboard and calculator. May be required to operate a motor vehicle.
