Job Description

Premier Homes is currently seeking a Project Superintendent with 3+ years’ experience. Must have experience working within the California production homebuilder industry.

Successful applicant will possess the following experience and skills:

  • Exceptional knowledge of residential construction and all components needed to construct single-family homes
  • Ability to maintain the highest ethical behavior. 
  • Interact with all trades, sales and home buyers in a professional and supportive manner.
  • Self-motivated and able to work in a team environment.
  • Ability to stay organized and manages priorities in an efficient manner.
  • Possess strong scheduling skills and experience and the ability to keep and update schedules.
  • Ability to read and comprehend architectural and structural building plans.
  • Monitor and adhere to OSHA standards.
  • Monitor and adhere to SWPPP regulations.
  • Proficient in using MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook {mandatory}. Additional experience with Buildtopia Home Building Software is a plus.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal; detail-oriented with good follow-up and follow-thru skills.
  • Good people and problem-solving skills required.   
  • Display a cooperative attitude at all times.
  • Valid Driver’s License required.

 

Job Description:

  • Management of the overall project, including the start and finish of all homes built.
  • Must be able to generate and follow a schedule and update management regularly on progress.
  • Manage Assistant Superintendents on a daily basis while also teaching them to skills required to become a Superintendent.
  • Meet regularly with our sales team to discuss building progress and buyers' needs.
  • Must be comfortable interacting with homeowners on a regular basis.
  • Must be able to read plans and track all changes required throughout the project. This will require communication and coordination with the engineer as well as upper management.
  • Strong attention to detail. We pride ourselves on the quality of the home we build.
  • Responsible for managing all job site safety must have a general knowledge of proper construction safety practices.
  • Approve all subcontractor invoices and purchase orders on a regular basis.
  • General knowledge of SWPPP and its best management practices.
  • Reports to the General Superintendent
  • Other duties as assigned.
