SMUD is currently looking for summer interns!
As an intern, you'll have the opportunity to gain real work experience and new skills in your chosen career. Here are just a few of the things our interns have been responsible for:
Treasury & Risk Management Intern
Perform analytical and research tasks and develop written, graphic or oral reports
Make computations and analyze data for degree of confidence and for alternative courses of action
Develop computer programs relating to assignments and code material for established programs
Energy Education Intern
Answer phones and register the public for classes; sign in attendees and answer general questions
Prepare materials for K-12 classes and hand out materials and surveys at classes
Assist in preparing for large educational events by organizing materials and packing promotional item
iSOC Technician Intern
